Responding to Trauma, Grief and Loss Certificate

Individuals employed in Health and Human Services (HHS) must address trauma and loss to provide effective, safe services, as up to 90% of people have experienced trauma that influences their physical and mental health. This certificate will provide foundational knowledge and skills to ensure HHS providers are equipped to understand and support clients, as well as protect themselves from secondary traumatic stress – a job hazard for those working with individuals who have experienced trauma and loss.
